I’m eagerly waiting on results from my Ancestry DNA sample. Are you interested in your heritage?

Yes. I am interested. But not at the cost of having my DNA in a database that the government, with all the communists already in it, will certainly one day “acquire”.

I just got my results back from 23 and me. I've been in contact with cousins already.

My grandmother always said we are related to Alexander Hamilton. She was right.

It’s a lot of fun.
I was always told we were German. I have as much German in me as Warren has American Indian.
Found out l are Norwegian and Swedish.

Awesome! Odd timing on my poll then.

You just gave a liberal-owned company your DNA and you paid for it.

It was a Christmas gift and unfortunately liberal VA already had it.

Ahh! Everything is a giant conspiracy! The sky is falling! LOL

What a way to live your life.

Sergey Brin’s ex-wife is the CEO of 23andMe. One day you’ll wake up, maybe even thank me for at least exposing you to the corruption.

So the wife of the Russian-Jewish co-founder of Google can’t have an ancestry company?

Doesn’t the Mormon church own Ancestry DNA? What nefarious things do you think they are doing?

Oh wow a businessman's ex wife also has a business. Good point!

You're a ridiculous person. Just ridiculous.

Yes, but I haven't done a DNA sample and probably won't.

There are certain pieces that I “know” but even if everything I was told turns out to be accurate, and I’m sure some won’t, there are gaps I’m curious about. I do t think the results are necessarily accurate to the % point but I do think they’re real.

2 of my kids did their tests last year, because they were really interested in genealogy and working on their family tree. They got their results, and about 6 months later got an update to their results in which certain percentages were refined, and a couple of the low-confidence results disappeared completely or changed to a different region. It gets more accurate the more people that do it, and it's cool that they update you. Now my husband and I are eager to get our results, to see which one of us some of the results came from, because there were a few surprises, nothing major.

Did your kids each have slightly different results initially? I saw where triplets all sent in separately and all had the same variations but with slightly different percentages. By the way, I like your location tag.

Thanks! Yes, they had slightly different results. One is a decent amount more Irish than the other, for example.
