I got a varsity letter for marching band, so I guess that means yes.

Probably could’ve made varsity basketball this year. But I would have no playing time, so I played CYO. If I still played football, I definitely would’ve made it, but I don’t have the dedication to play it. 4 hours of practice, 2 hours of lifting, and 1 hour of swim, no thank you.

4 years of varsity swimming and water polo. Since I already had an American record when I started high school. I was their sprinter.

Track and basketball. I sucked at both.

Yes. Football, wrestling, and baseball. Other than physically destroying me, it made me incredibly mentally tough for the real world.

I’d encourage as many people as I can to wrestle. It’s the most humbling experience ever. You don’t eat, you don’t drink, your competition is physically equal to you, there are no teammates to pawn off responsibility, etc. If you win, it’s the greatest feeling. If you lose, the complete opposite.

Not to mention, you are wearing the most revealing piece of man clothing other than a man thong.

Wrestlers never got enough cred when I was in hs. They were the hobbits locked in our basement dungeon underneath the bball gym. As a rugby player I always thought the best crossover athletes were wrestlers

Not played in, per se, but participated in. For all three years of high school I was a member of the varsity rifle team. Team captain my senior year. The season lasts the whole school year and involves a lot of practice and regular matches. There really wasn’t time to be on that team and participate in any of the other sports, even if I had wanted to (I wrestled in jr high).

Football, although I rarely got any varsity playing time. I was on JV all the way through my senior year. My head coach was notorious for leaving starters in varsity games late in the second half, even if the outcome was certain. We'd be up by 5 touchdowns and the JV guys would finally go in with maybe 90 seconds left in the game. That coach was a real dirtbag.

No, I didn't get interested in Basketball until it was too late. My Chess coach did give us a fancy Varsity Letter thingy, but we all thought it was kind of silly.
