Harrison Ford is flying to the UAE nation to warn about threat of global devastation from fossil fuels. This from a man who once said, “I often fly up to the coast for a cheeseburger.” Do you think he should be speaking about ocean conservation?

Learning more about a situation and changing your opinion about it is such a terrible thing! The nerve of some people.

He may be a hypocrite for some things....but he has a voice that people will listen to. He should use it.

He lost all integrity when he agreed to be in that horrible Disney movie

Hey, if he takes the Millennium Falcon and uses the hyper drive, he’ll be there in 12 parsecs and will have saved all sorts of fossil fuels.

I have no idea what you meant but because I like you and Rhett is so adorable as the Pied Piper - I’ll just nod 😂

Thank you! 😂 I was referring to Harrison Ford’s role of Han Solo in Star Wars.

I know what you said, and loved it!
However, Ford couldn’t do it but Solo could!

But he hasn’t or else he wouldn’t be flying thousands of miles to speak.

We are all hypocrites when we talk about climate change. Especially those of us who eat meat, walk on concrete and have children.

SB- I’m with Kscott on this. What are you talking about?

Production of meat, manufacturing of concrete and reproducing children are some of the worst things one could do for the environment. So if you demand change for the environment, yet partake in these things, it’s a little hypocritical. Myself included.

Having children? Let’s take this delusion to its logical conclusion. What’s the point of saving the earth if there are no more people to inhabit it? Less people also means less revenue. You can’t provide a social program with diminishing progeny.

Climate change is real, but I don't see how it affects the normal every day life of people so.

Ford flies a tiny cessna... He probably uses the same amount of fuel a truck uses if it were stuck in traffic and drove there..

Excuse me, a Aviat Husky single-engine propellor which can go about 150 miles on 7 gallons of gas... That's 21 mpg. So... Much more efficient than most cars when you account for a straight shot flight

The amount of jet fuel he’s using to fly there would probably be enough auto fuel for 3 average families for a year. Why doesn’t he just send a video?
