A few days ago, you accidentally cut your hand. It's healed nicely thanks to bandages and Neosporin - but you forgot to shave your hand around the wound! Do you rip that sucker off like you're starting a lawnmower, or do you gently peel it off?

That bandage fell off in the shower yesterday.

Some people have lots of body hair, even the back of their hands. Those that don't are just lucky 😂

You have to rip it. Don’t prolong the pain. Every blood draw I get (5-7 times a year), they put the tape and gauze over my hairy Italian arm.

I run it under water to loosen it up, then it won't take much effort to take it off.

That's a great idea. I've always just ripped it off as fast as possible but I like your idea better.

I discovered it by accident when I've wanted to keep a bandaid on, but it got wet and kept coming off. I thought this must be the easiest way to take one off.

You did better than me. I've had that happen with Band-Aids too and it still never occurred to me that might be the safest way and most painless way to remove one.

I have to laugh at myself when the solution is staring me straight in the face and I don't see it. LOL

Realistically, I would start pulling it off gently, realize hurts like hell either way and then suck it up and rip it off.

I RIP it, one quick sudden zap versus a slow torture.
