Do you see the actual "state of the union" (how the US is faring in general - the economy, international relations, unemployment, social issues, living standard etc) as rather positive (fair to great) or negative (bad to catastrophic)?
This isn’t sustainable.
Very concerning. I don’t think we can continue like this for long:
We’re doing great.
Compared to any country or any other time in history, we are doing great.
Well, the unemployment rate is 4% (compared to almost 10% for France), there is no major war, no recession and while the national debt is big, it's not unmanageable.
Optimist that I am, I'd say we're doing fair.
The economy is the main indicator for this assessment.
