50’s throwback. Did you ever play with Lincoln Logs? I spent hours playing with my brother’s set.
Yes, and I loved them... I really should get my son some.
Amazon. I found a nice set at the goodwill
Yes, with my brother in the ‘40-50s. He is 5 years younger than me.
No - I asked Santa for some but he never heard me, I guess.
Get yourself a set.
Right ... if I got down on the floor to play with them I’m not sure I could get back up again!! 🤣😂
Kitchen table is where they played yesterday.
Can you imagine me trying to explain to my cleaning lady why I am building a cabin in the dining room?? 😂🤣 she already thinks I’m crazy - that would just confirm it! 😊
Just don’t tell her it’s for the Leprechauns and fairys.
Erector sets too.
Whenever I'm in our basement gym/store room I notice we still have a box of Lincoln Logs. It has been through our kids, our grand kids and is ready for our great Grand kids. First GG-Kid due in April.
BTW now days the room is mostly used for storage vs heavy exercise.
Congratulations. We have a great granddaughter due in July
I loved my Lincoln Logs.
Yes, but only at school recess on days we couldn’t go outside to play.
Yes I did
There are Lincoln Logs in my house currently.....
Legos. We had the logs but I’m more of a lego guy.
50's? I wasn't born yet, but I still played with them when I was a kid...
They came out in 1914
My grandparents had a small set for us to play with when we visited there, but we never had a set at home. We did have an Erector set that was much more fun though, and a Tinker Toy set. So many tiny screws and nuts in that erector set, and my hands always smelled like rust and oil after building something with it. So great!
I always wanted some Lincoln Logs, but all we had was Tinker Toys! I wish they still had those now!
They still have Tinker Toys? I didn’t realize that!
I think so. The Lincoln logs you can get on Amazon. I got Gavin’s set at the goodwill.
I had Lincoln Logs as a kid.
Those are so fun! My boys have them, too. We love them!
I love them too and so did my son. I also liked tinker toys.
I loved those things!
They came out in 1914.
