So the people who thought the CIA was involved in a conspiracy to overthrow Castro made $20,000 less than the people who didn’t? Interesting

With a few exceptions I’ve found this to be true. It is, after all, to be expected that those whose lives are hard would like to transfer their guilt to others.

I’d take it a step further and say it applies to people who can’t accept reality as if is.

Kscott, have you ever watched Adam Ruins Everything on TruTV? There’s an episode on conspiracy theories. It won’t change your mind about anything, but it was interesting and you may enjoy it.

Kevin, you are an outlier here but this is generally true. People can’t accept reality, they can’t accept responsibility, or they are just batshit crazy. I know these

I’d go so far as to say I think there was a Kennedy conspiracy. I also have a theory that Ted wasn’t driving the car that Kopechne was in.

MrsCrayonWax
02/07/19 12:08 pm

Not true. He was driving the car with the wife of a high ranking official in the front seat. Mary Jo snuck away from a party earlier and passed out in the back seat. They didn’t know she was in there. How else could Ted have gotten out of the front but MJ couldn’t have? She also could identify the mistress.

kscott516 Masks fail

Let’s just say that after more than 2 years and countless hours of looking at the flat earth evidence, it stands to reason. It all started when my older brother (who knows I’ve always loved science) told me that there were some people claiming the earth was flat. I, too, said there’s no way and asked why he would be believe it. He said he didn’t believe it but that he found some of their arguments interesting. So I said I would do some research. I started by looking for credible arguments from credible people and seeing what they had to say, and then searched for evidence to prove it wrong. The more I researched, the more it lead towards a belief in the flat earth. Could I be wrong? I can admit that possibility. But the evidence for it is incredibly convincing. I suggest looking into it before dismissing it simply because it seems so unbelievable. That’s confirmation bias.

I’ve seen more than 10 minutes. My sister was teetering on flat earth for awhile. I can entertain just about anything but flat earth is illogical imho. I’ll talk all day with you about the grays, crop circles, the nephalim, Anunnaki. Linda Moulton Howe, Daniel Hoagland, or Stanton Friedman.

kscott516 Masks fail
02/07/19 4:05 pm

Yes it’s fake news. Clearly a much greater percentage of the population believes in the mainstream narratives and so many are stupid and poor. Claiming that believers in conspiracy theories, a broad catch-all, is unsubstantiated. You can easily search and find many highly intelligent and wealthy people that don’t buy the mainstream stories on various topics. It’s easy to cherrypick data to construct this outcome. It’s fake news.

kscott516 Masks fail

If you find flat earth illogical then you really haven’t looked very much into it.

That wasn’t me. They are round but they’re not solid planets. They’re luminaries. Look up why they look like through a high-powered telescope. Not solid but blinking lights. God put them in the firmament for signs and seasons. If we were spinning and hurtling through space then we couldn’t rely on their consistent cycles.
