Are you more likely to follow a user because of a poll you liked or a comment you liked?
Usually comments. Or, when someone follows me, I usually follow back.
Polls. I like voting on a variety of topics, not just politics all the time.
Not just one comment, but a series of good ones.
That’s a toss-up ... can be either.
I don’t follow users that frame a poll with two answers that lead to the same conclusion... I just skip those polls and users. They aren’t open to discussion.
Mostly comments because that’s what I read more of... some people post really insightful things, and I like to see those that challenge my views.
Usually I learn more about a user from their comments than from their polls. But sometimes I’ll follow a user because I enjoy their polls. I’m pretty sure I started following you because I liked your poll questions.
Originally, SOH didn’t allow polling so you had to get followers off comments.
I remember those days.
Comments grab my attention then I look at their polls to decide. I don’t follow if they post a ton of polls.
It’s usually a comment that grabs my attention.
Both, but probably more so the comment.
I followed you because of your polls though.
