I guess so, back when wolves were still endangered, and obviously the eagles that are everywhere here, but maybe not when they were still endangered. Bull trout too, but they might just be locally endangered (or threatened).

Key deer, American alligators, loggerhead turtles, roseate spoonbills, manatees, bald eagles, freshwater turtles, American oystercatcher, black skimmers, Florida sandhill crane, Florida scrub-jay, least tern, little blue heron, piping plover, snowy plover, wood stork. I took pictures of most of them.

Are bald Eagle in trouble? I fished a private deep water lake for 22 years (now a wildlife preserve) a few miles from my house. I’ve seen bald eagles, hawks, turkey vultures, blue heron and cormorants all the time. The eagles and hawks would skim the lake and grab a fish on the wing. Really something.
