Not that I know of, but it’s a real dream of mine to travel to Africa to visit the wildlife sanctuaries and see some of the endangered species there.

I guess so, back when wolves were still endangered, and obviously the eagles that are everywhere here, but maybe not when they were still endangered. Bull trout too, but they might just be locally endangered (or threatened).

Key deer, American alligators, loggerhead turtles, roseate spoonbills, manatees, bald eagles, freshwater turtles, American oystercatcher, black skimmers, Florida sandhill crane, Florida scrub-jay, least tern, little blue heron, piping plover, snowy plover, wood stork. I took pictures of most of them.

These are from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission list of endangered and threatened species. myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/wildlife/reports/

Are bald Eagle in trouble? I fished a private deep water lake for 22 years (now a wildlife preserve) a few miles from my house. I’ve seen bald eagles, hawks, turkey vultures, blue heron and cormorants all the time. The eagles and hawks would skim the lake and grab a fish on the wing. Really something.

Are turkey vultures endangered? I've seen a couple of those near my house...ugly looking things.

I don’t any of the ones I mentioned are endangered. I thought the Bald Eagle was removed from the list several years ago.

My buddy and I were in his boat heading slowly to a spot when a BE flew directly overhead about 25 ft. Flew up to a treetop and watch us.

It was about 15 miles west of Toledo, around where my parents live. There are a few known nests in that area. Lots of farm fields...plenty of juicy mice, moles and such.

Interesting. I never saw one growing up in OR or living in WA. I saw my first one in Alaska. Then...over the last 10 years or so...they’ve become common sites in the Pacific NW. they are majestic birds....I never get tired of spotting them.
