Is your favorite television show ever still airing new episodes?
The Good Doctor
Cagney and Lacey
In The Flesh
Laverne and Shirley
Mork and Mindy
Marcus Welby (I'm showing my age)
All In The Family
Sanford and Son
Oops forgot about no to Breaking Bad
Yes to Game of Thrones. Walking Dead is getting stupid. So is Orange is the New Black. But it's ending
Sanford and Son!
How I met your mother
Murder she wrote.
The Beverly Hillbillies
No: Babylon5, firefly, Farscape, SGU, battle star galactica, Seinfeld , the office, Frasier,
Yes the 100
No: Battlestar Galactica, Mad Men, Lost, Heroes (season 1 only), Star Trek TOS, Sopranos, Breaking Bad.
Yes: The Good Place
I don’t watch programs that still airing new episodes. I hate having to wait a week for a new episode and then 9 months for a new season.
The Man in the High Castle.
I see you are a man of culture as well
Yes The Blacklist
Game of Thrones has to be the show for me!
Katanagatari was a 10 episode long series that ran in 2010 it was great it will never and should never sit another episode.
The West Wing
Last man standing
I don’t think I have a favorite TV show.
South Park yes.
Saw the Book of Mormon Friday night. Truly inspirational lmao
The original Magnum PI
It’s a toss up between House and Supernatural.
No. Tudors, Borgias, Versailles. I do love my period dramas! Even when they annoy me by being historically inaccurate.
No, but it’s still the only thing I watch on Netflix.
No, RIP Tony Soprano
It's hard to make decent comedy shows because you have to walk on eggshells to not offend someone. It's really silly when all you need to do is just not watch it.
There are rumors of a movie though.
No, Married With Children has sadly been defunct for over a decade now.
They were showing every morning in syndication until the start of the latest tv season and the switched to the worst tv show ever King Of Queens, that was sooo messed up😩
I’m surprised they still allow it on TV. I guess SJWs don’t watch Spike TV
Never saw KoQ but it looked lame
It’s the worst, don’t waste your time
Networks are so busy pushing social engineering upon their viewers (I.e. LGBTQ, Leftist anchored sitcoms, Anti-conservative news & sitcoms, etc) I find almost all current broadcasts from NBC, ABC, CBS and their affiliates offending, and embarrassing. Not mention offensive.
I’m truly not sure what my favorite TV show ever is. At least two that would appear in the top five are still airing new episodes.
Too many over too many seasons.
There are some shows whose quality went unappreciated, like The Paper Chase. It was a fantastic show!
One of them - Grey’s Anatomy.
Elementary has one more season ahead, and some of my favorites on PBS haven’t ended.
Sadly, others have ended—The Americans, Major Crimes & The Closer, Law and Order, Avonlea, and Frasier (IMO, the funniest sitcom ever; runner-up is Everybody Loves Raymond).
I had favorites then and new ones now. So it changes all the time.
It’s a no. 😔
Game of thrones
I have a few favorite shows, but Game of Thrones is still going and will be back in April! Stoked. 🐉
So many favorites but none are airing new episodes -- Seinfeld, ER, Doogie Howser M.D., Growing Pains, Melrose Place, Desperate Housewives, The Facts of Life, Beverly Hills 90210, Roseanne, Two Broke Girls were all just some of this Gen-Xer's favorites 😉 "Back in my day" 😄😄 We didn't have HD, 3 or 4K tv and you saved your shows to watch later by taping them with the VCR 😉
🤣😂 back in MY day, we waited for summer re-runs ... there were no devices to record on those old b&w TVs. 🤣😂.
I love “back in the day” stories! 🤣😂
Oh and you had to get up to change the channel... 😄 Yes I love the "back in my day" too! 👍
Not since the 80’s The golden girls and the 80’s/90’s Roseanne with the Roseanne Barr
I watch GG every morning on Hallmark!
🐔🍪 GG is also on TV Land on Nickelodeon usually on the weekends 😊
I heard they might make a broadway show about them but those ladies are irreplaceable!
“Picture this, a young peasant girl ...
Only if Betty White plays her character. Sophia was my favorite because she was very much like my Italian grandmother 😄
I regularly only watch TruTV now. All my favorites are still airing new shows.
Oh, missed the "ever" part. No way. The golden years of TV has passed.
The Walking Dead returns next Sunday!
Last Man Standing
I've only watched a couple of the new episodes since it switched networks. Loved the show though, is it pretty much the same since switching?
It was better before
The Office reboot!!!
Winter is coming, baby! This April. Can’t wait!!!
Who's your favorite character?
I’m not sure I can narrow it to one. Maybe three. Jon, Tyrion and Arya, followed closely by Dani. You?
Ned, Tyrion and THE HOUND! 😂
I was so pissed when Ned died in season 1, He was my favorite character ever and then he just gets his damn head cut off. My favorite death what probably when Joffrey died.
Tywin is definitely on my top 5. Is Dani Daenerys?
Yes, Dani is short form, easier for typing/spelling. The hound is an interesting choice.
I agree! Jeffery’s death is fabulous!!! I’ve never cheered so much over someone dying!
Oh, other favorite characters include Lady Olenna and Margaery. Also, I’m really digging Jamie’s almost hero-like arc and the rather complex and intriguing relationship he and Brienne have.
Tywin? Tywin is an ass. That said, the actor did a fabulous job playing the family’s patriarch and he was wonderful at exuding power.
I hated Jamie in season 1 and 2, but he's changed and is less egotistical and more wise with valid morals. I still have that grudge on him because he was kinda responsible for Ned dying.
Yah, Tywin was an ass but the character was just very dence and has seen a lot. I understand why a lot of people hate him 😂
And I can understand people hating Jamie. There are a lot of valid reasons for that.
I figure if a character you’re supposed to hate makes you hate them real hard though (Cersei is this for je(, they’re doing a damn fine job of it!
So, who sits on the throne at the end for you? Or maybe the better question is, does any even live through it?
Okay so everyone hates me for this but I believe that Daenerys dies, Both the stark girls die, Brand lives, Cersei dies, Jamie lives, Tyrion lives and Jon would be asked to take the throne but he well reject it and try to change the monarchist form of governing into a form of oligarchy.
I say the stark girls will die because if you look at the recent trailer the Stark girls statues look young and John statue looks old.
Another thing is I think the ice king will die within the 3rd episode; then we'll just go back into the game of thrones. The council will be lead by Tyrion btw.
Cersie dies by Jamie’s hand. Jamie either somehow dies then or has a hero’s death fighting walkers, maybe saving Brienne once more.
One theory for Dani: She finds out she’s pregnant with Jon’s baby, so even if they’re horrified by the incest (as a Targaryen she shouldn’t be, but I suspect he would be), it won’t matter. She dies somehow during/after she has the baby. Jon dies a hero’s death fighting the Night King leaving their baby as the rightful heir & ruler of the 7 kingdoms. Should Tyrion live, he’s named the one who rules until the baby comes of age.
A hero’s death for Arya, likely fighting the walkers, maybe saving Sansa.
Sansa lives and becomes warden of the north.
Tormund and Brienne live (barely) & he finally woos her.
Jorah Mormont dies saving Dani and/or her baby. Bronn lives by sheer luck.
The hound kills the mountain in Cleganebowl. Not sure if he’ll make it after that.
Sam lives & is a Maester & actually the narrator of the entire thing.
Now, how does the Night King die?
I think it’s by Jon. I think Jon is Azor Ahai from the prophesy. But, how he does it is the big question.
Maybe help from Bran from afar... some kind of warging to control the army of the dead or something maybe.
Azor Ahai is supposed to have a flaming sword though.... so maybe Jon’s sword is set afire by one of Dani’s dragons.
Speaking of dragons, I think Jon will eventually ride one of the dragons.
That's one of the most concrete answers I've seen. But I disagree with the part that Jon dies. I know that Dani dies and will have the baby before she dies (maybe during child birth) the last episode at the end of session 7 was kinda weird because it showed that Tyrion now knows about Jon and Dani so something is gonna happen there.
I think another dragon will die but the main one will live and be given to Jon; mostly because that scene where Jon connects with Danis dragon.
I hope you’re right about Jon. I really, really, really want him to live. Hell, I’d like my 3 favorites to live. But, it is Game of Thrones.
Oh, we’re missing Varys. Love him too. The Red Woman foretold her own death though and his as well. Bummer. Can’t figure how he’d die though. Varys is pretty good about staying far away from battles.
Love that scene!
Varys will live
I HATED the way Little Finger died 😂
Yeah, but you have to admit he deserved it, and Arya was kind to make it quick.
I do miss those chats between Petyr and Varys in the throne room prior to the small council meetings though. Those were some of the best scenes of all of the seasons.
“Chaos is a ladder.”
"Many who try to climb it fail but never get to try again, the fall breaks them and some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse, they cling to the realm. For the gods, for love. Illusions, only the ladder is real, the climb is all there is."
Daenerys shouldnt die. She should have more sex. Shes hot
For Davis seaworth and Jamie Lannister are the best characters
Tywin is the best
Jon and Danny annoy me from seasons 4 onward. They’re just invincible characters that the writers are dragging kicking and screaming to the finale, not because they’re smart, but because that’s what the writers want, and it comes through
No and Yes.
Avatar The Last Airbender
And Game of Thrones⚔
