I just learned on YouTube Ted Ed, that your only supposed to blow one nostril at a time, instead of both. The comment section was full of ppl who already knew this. Do you blow
how do you blow one nostril at a time?
Close the side of one nostril while you blow the other nostril into a tissue.
Definitely one at a time... I find it difficult to blow both at once.
Ive always done both. I thought to do one would clog my ear. I get sinusitis alot and ear problems.
Blowing your nose, especially very strongly, can lead to some ear discomfort or congestion if the Eustachian tube is blocked. If that happens a lot, you should try blowing less forcefully. Some studies have shown using less force reduces the chances of developing an infection.
Thank you. I am giving the new way a try. I'll do anything to keep mucus out of my sinuses. I'll be gentle.
The middle nostril is the tricky one.
One at a time. Their technique is a little goofy.
Lol. I'm giving it a try
One unless both happen to be equally congested
