The United States starting tomorrow will suspend the INF (Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty and Shorter-Range Missiles signed in 1987). Treaty sought to restrict both Russia and United States from access to developing further such weapons.

Russia has been in violation of it since before the soviet fell. That contract is worthless.

I don’t get it. These weapons are 100% needed in the Pacific to balance out China who is researching and building them as we speak. We should have never signed that treaty especially since Russia was known to violate it for at least 2 decades or more. Trump did the right thing.

The Russians aren’t abiding by it so why should we be bound by it?

Even the UN is right twice a day.

If Russia was already violating the treaty, it is null and void.

In 1988 I was in the military, we knew Russia was in violation of the INF treaty then. Russia was dismantling their tactical nuclear sites, moving them across a line on the map and set them right back up. We could watch them via satellite.

So, once again, Trump is doing something that prior Presidents should have done, but failed to.

Absolutely, prior presidents were too chickenshit to take action.
