Have you gotten the flu this winter?
Yes, and Yes I did get the Flu Vaccine. The Flu was very mild since I had the Vaccine in September. I advise everyone to get the Flu Shot yearly.
No but I had it in October
No, but I got staph.
Yes. It was mild. And yes I get the flu shot every single year—-ever since I got a horrible flu 20 years ago. Learned my lesson. Get the shot.
Don’t Get Sick
When it's cold
Nope! And will never get the flu shot. I use oils once a week to help my compromised immune system. Friend just had strep and eye infection. I made her 4 “antibiotic bombs” and she was well in two days!
i got the flu vaccine this year in september and a few weeks ago i got extremely ill with what i believe was the flu. i think i’m a rare case in which the flu vaccine harms rather than helps my chances
The vaccine didn't harm you - it was just ineffective for the strain of flu you caught.
Yes. Flu over Christmas and New Year holidays. Was brutal.
No. Just a cold that developed into a nasty cough for months.
Nope. Never had it either. I think I inherited my mom’s strong immune system. Except when it comes to bacterial infections.
No flu in many, many years (probably 20). But, I did start getting the flu shot a couple years back because of having very elderly in-laws.
I went to a winter camp with my church youth group. There I got sick for like an hour (randomly) and now I’m doing A-OK!
That’s food poisoning if very short.
No but almost my entire family did, I was the only one who was spared
Maybe...if so, I got it 2 hours ago...too soon to tell. But I did get a flu shot so maybe what I feel now is something else.
No flu, no shot for me. Elderberry FTW.
No - get the flu shot every year.
Is that really a thing? Sounds made up.
The flu in influenza?
Nope. No poisonous flu vaccine either.
no, and I didn't get the flu vaccine either. my immune system is far too powerful for your mortal diseases
Yes, I get it every year and make sure my wife gets it too..also have all the pneumonia shots.
I think u need to reread the poll my dude
No...hopefully because I got my flu shot :)
Not so far. I had it last winter and was sick for a month.
No. I have a stubborn sore throat at the moment (I get one or two every winter) but no flu symptoms. When I get sick, it's almost always a sore throat. I have very few issues with my stomach or my lungs.
No but I took my flu shot.
Why would you put poison into your body?
So I won’t get the flu 😷
Weird. I don’t put mercury or aluminum into my body so I won’t get sick, but that’s just me.
The vaccine used these days comes in a preservative free single use syringe. No thimerosal, mercury, etc.
No, but whenever say “I haven’t gotten the flu for 5 years”, i get it the day after. So goddamnit SOH! If I get the flu this winter it will be your fault.
Odd flex but okay
Nope, and I never have. I haven't had a flu shot in 15 years either.
No but I had a bad cold that was directly followed by food poisoning so it kind of felt like the flu...
No, not even a bad cold which you shouldn't confuse with *influenza* which comes with joint pain, high fever, extreme fatigue and can be very dangerous.
THAT is the flu:
500 million infected, up to 100 million dead.
I hope I get it so I can miss school for a while.
Joshua. You are reported.
I don't think I've gotten the flu but I've been sick a couple times with some strong viruses that would probably make some people think it was the flu.
Went from a head cold/stomach virus to chest congestion, took a little over two weeks but I'm pretty well past it now.
No and I got my flu shot. However, this week alone we diagnosed more than 20 people with influenza A that I know of. 😷
I’m sure there was more in today, but I was off. Wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze, and stay home when you are ill.
Peace. Tell them to cough on the inside of their elbow.
No. Get the vaccine and it always works. Do have self diagnosed bronchitis now though.
Just the flu shot, before winter. No flu yet.
If SoH just made me jinx myself I’m gonna be pissed...
Nope. secret: wash hands a few times a day and never touch public door handles or knobs.
