Yes, and Yes I did get the Flu Vaccine. The Flu was very mild since I had the Vaccine in September. I advise everyone to get the Flu Shot yearly.

Yes. It was mild. And yes I get the flu shot every single year—-ever since I got a horrible flu 20 years ago. Learned my lesson. Get the shot.

Nope! And will never get the flu shot. I use oils once a week to help my compromised immune system. Friend just had strep and eye infection. I made her 4 “antibiotic bombs” and she was well in two days!

i got the flu vaccine this year in september and a few weeks ago i got extremely ill with what i believe was the flu. i think i’m a rare case in which the flu vaccine harms rather than helps my chances

The vaccine didn't harm you - it was just ineffective for the strain of flu you caught.

Yes. Flu over Christmas and New Year holidays. Was brutal.

No. Just a cold that developed into a nasty cough for months.

Nope. Never had it either. I think I inherited my mom’s strong immune system. Except when it comes to bacterial infections.

No flu in many, many years (probably 20). But, I did start getting the flu shot a couple years back because of having very elderly in-laws.

I went to a winter camp with my church youth group. There I got sick for like an hour (randomly) and now I’m doing A-OK!

That’s food poisoning if very short.

Maybe...if so, I got it 2 hours ago...too soon to tell. But I did get a flu shot so maybe what I feel now is something else.

Not so far. I had it last winter and was sick for a month.

No. I have a stubborn sore throat at the moment (I get one or two every winter) but no flu symptoms. When I get sick, it's almost always a sore throat. I have very few issues with my stomach or my lungs.

So I won’t get the flu 😷

Weird. I don’t put mercury or aluminum into my body so I won’t get sick, but that’s just me.

The vaccine used these days comes in a preservative free single use syringe. No thimerosal, mercury, etc.

No, but whenever say “I haven’t gotten the flu for 5 years”, i get it the day after. So goddamnit SOH! If I get the flu this winter it will be your fault.

No but I had a bad cold that was directly followed by food poisoning so it kind of felt like the flu...

No, not even a bad cold which you shouldn't confuse with *influenza* which comes with joint pain, high fever, extreme fatigue and can be very dangerous.

I don't think I've gotten the flu but I've been sick a couple times with some strong viruses that would probably make some people think it was the flu.
Went from a head cold/stomach virus to chest congestion, took a little over two weeks but I'm pretty well past it now.

No and I got my flu shot. However, this week alone we diagnosed more than 20 people with influenza A that I know of. 😷

I’m sure there was more in today, but I was off. Wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze, and stay home when you are ill.
