On my street since it’s a main road there is a lot of litter but for the rest of the city it’s not too bad

No, my city is relatively clean.

I can’t comment on Tacoma since I just got here. Back in San Diego? It was bad. People would leave broken appliances, boxes, tires, papers, bikes and motorized scooters all over the place.

Too early to form an opinion. I need to travel around a bit more first.

CA roadways near SF are a dumpster of car parts, trash, "things" falling off or out of cars, clothes,...
Where is our gas tax and toll money going?
Nice new duds for the governor?

Oregon? Not much, especially compared to living in the South and Midwest. 😬

The bottle bill and pervasive recycling programs really help.

It’s not bad here at all. There’s a little - some things just blow away, and there are always a few buttheads who toss stuff out of their cars etc., but on the whole it’s a pretty tidy place.

Mainly it's the "party zone" downtown with dozens of bars open way past midnight. The place is trashed with bottles, cans, cups and lunchboxes.
However, waste management always has it cleaned up before 8am.
I still don't understand why people litter the sidewalk when in that area, the next trash can is never more than 100 feet away.

There’s a little bit. Mostly, it’s blown in from elsewhere. It’s windy in my neck of the woods.

I pay big bucks for the HOA to keep everything nice and clean looking.
