Seeing how the government manages healthcare for our retired vets. Do we as Americans really want the government managing free healthcare for all? Why?
I will never understand why so many of our government representatives are against a government run healthcare system. What do you think the healthcare they all enjoy is?
The VA is a prime example of why we need Medicare for all.... Yes they have long wait lines because they only have so few facilities but they receive top grade health care... If we expand that to all 1) all the vets who don't qualify for VA benefits would finally have insurance and 2) there would be many many many more facilities and they could choose where they go and not just have a central hub for care.
Are you kidding ?
I wouldn't turn over all my health care to a bureaucracy that is neither competent nor honest.
You’re comparing the VA to Medicare. They are different systems.
What would be the difference between the two? Or name something the government can do better then a private company and why you feel that way?
MediCare works because it's based on the private medical system test is 80% not Medicare.
Nationalize 100% and you've got DMV/VET medicine.

I would want anyone making decisions on my healthcare to do so efficiently, effectively, and considering my personal choices. Truthfully. I don't see a government that's capable of all those things.
