In the order of scientific achievements which would you put 1st? Apollo 11, Neil Armstrong 1st man to step foot on the surface of the moon -or- The Hubble Space Telescope, enabling humanity to calculate the age of the universes to 13.8 billion years.

Although Apollo 11‘s Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the surface of the moon was quite the achievement I believe the Hubble Space Telescope and the information we receive back there of is the greatest scientific achievement in history of humanity.
