A group of Israeli scientists say a cure for cancer is within reach, even optimistically predicting that it will be found within a year. Possible or probably false.

I have been hearing for years and years how we’re on the “verge” of a cure for cancer and diabetes. Have yet to see either one.

Scientists have achieved enormous advances. Each year treatments are getting better. A lot of people that would have died a few years back, now survive thanks to new treatments. Hopefully, we will have the cure soon.

Possible yes, but it won't be available to just anyone or anywhere. You will only see the rich using it, and countrys where the government doesn't control the medical feild

It says it will have a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market.

Possible, but they might be bought off by big medical to shut it down. Too much money stands to be lost by a simple cure.

The article says that it’ll still be at least a few years and it’ll only be applicable to specific cases

“We believe we will offer in a year's time a complete cure for cancer,"
“The company will soon begin clinical trials that could be completed within "a few years" and would make the treatment available in specific cases”
