Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un have signed an agreement that commits to "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula". Will this agreement work out and be successful?
It’s been done and ignored by NK in the past.
Let’s hope. The world can use success...
Well according to Trump the document is comprehensive (and I assume he’d also claim the agreements are as well), although very little is known. I would say from Kim Jong Un’s perspective, doing this and carrying it out would not make sense unless it calls for no less than total withdrawal of the US military from the region.
I heard that there was no time table set, just an agreement of general principles, meaning Kim never conceded anything, but Trump can claim victory and strut around bragging. I'd say that's a win for Kim, if it's true. He's been an incredible diplomat, and been playing Trump like a fiddle.
I give it a maximum of three years before either side violates it.
