Looking back on your childhood and teenage years, what was your most enjoyable summer job?
Working at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH. Summer of 1991 remains my best summer ever.
Being a social director after my junior year in high school and then working for Sears the next summer.
Working on a fruit/veggie farm. I was the official flower picker/drier/arranger. It was my favorite job so far.
caddying. got to interact with very successful individuals, build up a great wirk habit, spend my days outside, learn a great game, and make good money.
Bagging and carrying out groceries.
Distributing inhouse mail at a big radio station.
You mean a paying job or chores?
Mowed lawns and had a large paper route. Did it to help my family and have spending money. No fun but a necessity.
From 15-22, I worked at the same place, every summer. Worlds of Fun, it’s an amusement park in KC. I started out in food service and finished as a lead ride manager. My favorite job title in those 7 years was ride training supervisor.
My only summer job at that time was official scorekeeper for softball games for our city's recreation and parks department. Fun job, met a lot of cool people.
Working at the daycare. I had a lot of fun with the kids and worked with a close friend’s Mom. It was a fun summer.
Nothing really enjoyable
Didn’t have one that was enjoyable, just hard, hard work.
Lifeguard and camp counselor
Yard and garden nursery watering plants and loading them or materials into cars or trailers. Then loading Christmas trees in the winter. Good times.
Either when I worked as a lifeguard at a beach in Maryland or when I interned in a local political campaign
