Are you good at asking for what you need or do you try to drop hints instead?
The only times I'm afraid of asking people for help is when I need a ride for appointments. I'm contemplating starting Uber but too chickenshit because my imagination runs wild and I'm afraid stuff happens,
You never get what you need unless you ask. 😺
If I need something, I ask. If I just want something, I might try a hint, but if that doesn’t get the UPS truck rolling my way pretty quickly I just get it myself.
I don't even know how to drop hints. The direct approach is my m.o.
I’m much better at asking now. I was not direct enough in my 20s.
You might need to change your SoH name then...😜
I tried dropping hints. Men don’t get hints. They need to be hit with a Mack truck! 💥
Very true. Even when I pick up on what I think are hints, I usually end up not getting what they mean. 🙄😋
I can tell and show my husband what I mean and he can still mess it up. Oh well, no one is perfect. I just try to focus on the good.
