Yes, my mom and me. Probably others I don’t know about. Its common in general

Yes. My late Dad was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was 8. It’s a terrifying and crippling disease for the person that has it and those around them. To my moms credit...she stuck by my Dad & took care of him for 40+ years until his death. I got off easy and left home when I was 18.

My unqualified opinion.....I think men are less likely to acknowledge mental illness.

My wife has mild Depression, and my oldest daughter has ODD and Anxiety issues. I'd list my son's Autism, and me and my oldest daughter's Asperger's and ADHD, but those are conditions, not illnesses.
