NYC has 8 specialized High Schools (Brooklyn Tech, Bronx School of Science, etc). They mayor wants to get rid of the entrance exam. NYC mid-school is 67% black/hispanic yet only 10% pass. Asians comprise 57-75% of the students! Good idea?
