Do you think politics focuses on the real issues?
Political correctness shouldn’t be political. The question of “Black Lives Matter” should not be political. Nationalism should not be a political topic. If it isn’t a matter of government, it shouldn’t be considered political.
All of that being said, there is a large variety of issues that are simply ignored. The penny, for instance, costs one and a half cents to make. It costs the US mint billions of dollars a year. However, because there is no social pressure to fix the issue, it remains. Our government has fallen to a populist system of “whatever sounds important”. We need reform.
Although I would say overall trump is a good president
Republicans yes, Democrats no.
Republicans oppose democrats so not agreeing with them does not mean they don't speak about the correct issues
