We donate around tax time for the tax credit. In my state we get a tax credit for donating to charitable organizations. So we donated to Interfaith Community Services and Camp Wildcat (both local organizations).

I have no idea where “my kids” came from. Must be subliminal. 😂

“My kids” was supposed to be “my church”.

I do so every month. Most recently, I donated to the Fresh Air Fund which provides day trips to nature for inner city kids in NYC (i’m sure other cities have similar charities). They go hiking, swimming, stuff like that. I think it’s really important for children to have interactions with nature especially children who don’t regularly encounter a natural surrounding.
