Heard of, don’t remember reading.

Yes, read it decades ago when it was first available in paperback. Left a lasting impression.

I read it long ago, I think in the mid ‘60s just a few years after it was first published.

I read it in 1963 as an 8th grader. It made a lasting impression on me as the city I lived in was all white. One of the first books to shape my political outlook.

I have heard of it, but never read it.

Read it several years ago.

I read the book in college. Very interesting.
