Have you developed a taste for any foods you used to hate within the last 10 years?
I have always enjoyed food. If you enjoy it, I will probably enjoy it with you.
Not in the last ten years. Maybe in the last twenty. My preferences have changed a little, but my list of "no"s hasn't changed much in a long time. We tested it with boiled cabbage last week - still a negatory.
Mushrooms. Spinach (cooked).
Nope. Still don't really care for oysters (except for one fabulous night on Kiawah Island, NC; see prior reference to Compuserve Cooks Forum bashes). Not interested in eating insects. Otherwise, I can't think what else I don't enjoy eating. (Which is not really a good thing.)
The last thing I remember learning to love that I had scorned before is turnips. Again, reference Cooks Forum bashes; this time, outside London. Lovely young man singlehandedly put together a dinner for 12 or so: standing rib roast, Yorkshire pudding, many side dishes, TWO decadent desserts, and...
...mashed neeps, which turned out to be turnips.
I loved them. (I was too stuffed to eat either dessert. Biggest regret of the trip.) That was 1994.
I think grapefruit is one of my biggest ones.
Love it now.
Yes, things have changed a lot since I was 6. :P
lol. didn't realize you were 16. :)
