Is it racist to deny a person of a different race than you service after your place of business has closed?
If you come in and expect someone to serve you after the business has closed, you're an asshole
An error by the manager being exploited by the right.
Another Portland bakery makes the news. The employees did the right thing and the management should have backed them up.
Not worth the bad publicity. We live in a country where just being accused of racism, sexism, religionism, or any other -ism will end your career or destroy your reputation.
Sad but true.
Yeah, ABC has been known to lie a lot. 🤥
Of course. Rightist crackers are lying snakes, and ABC is no exception.
ABC is owned by Disney, who just fired someone for a perceived racist comment against person of middle eastern decent. Yeah, sounds like ABC are total rightists. 🙄
Lmao, it’s run by white Amerikan billionaires. Of course it’s right-wing. Nothing imperialists do is progressive; it’s purely a publicity stunt to get dumb white liberals to consume more Disney products.
Eh, many of the wealthy are liberal because liberal policies are a great way to use the government as a tool to get money. There are those who just like feeling good about themselves too
Leftist eat their own.
Comrade ... I get that you can’t disagree with the comment. It’s ok, focus on the color of the carpet.
The irony of the statement, “Grammar much?”
What do you think @tomlaney
Doors are closed.
? What a crazy question - the business is closed.
The employee was fired because she said that.
Maybe a change of employment was in the offing for her anyway. One never hears the entire story and background.
It would be a crazy question, if it hadn’t actually happened. It’s safer to just fire a good employee rather than risk someone calling your business racist. Such is the America we currently live in.
If a place is closed then the person should just suck it up that it ain't open and that you just have to come back. No one is special, you don't just get to do something because you want to. I don't care who you are if you are not in the business within the hours you won't get your service. I wouldn't keep a place open later just because you show up 10 minutes after closing. Nobody is special and no one has to do anything for you.
This is what happens when a SJW runs a business
No, that is so unfair to the employee.
