President Trump signed bill Wednesday which allows terminally ill patients access to experimental medical treatments not yet approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Good news?
Great job Don!
Whoa whoa whoa. You democrats realize you just voted in FAVOR of president trump? Are you feeling ok?
I'm glad we all can agree on this
lmao, even when the democrats agree with Trump, more of them disagree than any other group. it's like they can't bring themselves to say he did something good
See look...we know when Trump does something good.
There’s no harm in trying
I hate it and i love it. Fuck it, its your life.
Great, However, it was already available under present laws.
No because they shouldn't be charging for experimental meds to begin with.
Finally something everyone can agree on!
A very good step forward I’d say. What’s there to lose when someone is at the end of the rope... all other options exhausted? Good job!
And let's hope none of us will ever have to use the privileges granted in the bill.
Yes. Good job Trump. I love getting to say that. Please do more stuff like this
Wow, I've never seen so much blue before. Makes you wonder why it took so long for this to be done. Definitely a positive for Trump.
Great news, as long as he’s requiring insurance company’s to cover the cost. Which I doubt.
Plan design is most often selected by the payor...the payor in the US is most often the employer, or the govt...the plan design determines whether experimental will be covered...not the insurance company.
Ebola....I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m simply clarifying that the payor is making that choice, not the insurance company in most cases.
Today is the day Trump finally became president.
So technically Trump signed a Bill that relinquishes power from the government and gives it back to the people.
Fuck ya bah!
Seriously, who are the 4% that said no on this?
Probably they read “President Trump “ and immediately pressed “NO”
The rabid Hillary supporters who would sniff the toilet she just got done using....
What's not to love about freedom and independence?!!?
From the FDA: www.google.com/amp/thehill.com/policy/healthcare/379123-former-fda-leaders-speak-out-against-right-to-try-bills%3Famp
Glad to hear it.
It is better than aborting them through the Death Panel in Obamacare.
Everybody loves the classics.
Absolutely. It’s absolutely despicable that the FDA is used to prohibit treatments and cures in the first place.
Can’t wait to hear how my liberal extended family members who have been calling for this for many years now turn it around and attack Trump...
They'll just act like it never happened.
They’ll say he had NOTHING to do with it...that Obama was already headed that way, and that a president doesn’t have control over these things, anyway! LOL
Just look at the replies on his Twitter and you'll see over 100 different ways trump is criticized for this.
Alfred, I took a look at the tweet responses.... What vile people. They somehow did turn this into Trump being evil. Its actually amazing how they do it.
It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome, Radon. Check out these articles, especially the WaPo one, about a liberal journalist that was attacked for saying ONE nice thing about Trump—and that was ONLY that he did the same thing Obama would’ve done!
I can admit when Trump does ONE good thing. Here it is. Doesn’t mean he’s not completely unqualified and a horrible cancer to American democracy.
He’s done a LOT of good things—they just happen to be campaign promises kept, which would not make liberals happy, of course.
Dang...thought you were talking about obama
Great, however it’s not going to make the slightest difference. Drug companies aren’t obligated to provide the drugs, insurance won’t cover them, and drs aren’t obligated to prescribe them. Trump just offered terminally ill patients false hope.
There’s the anti Trump spin I came here to find. Thank you for not disappointing.
Yep, typical libnazi scumbag, can’t handle when trump does a good thing. You people really are worthless.
Its actually the “I’ve worked in the drug/device industry for 10+ years” spin... specifically in clinical trials management.
I know how companies develop new drugs, how and why clinical trials are run, how experimental drugs are paid for, the risk a company would put its trials and patients in by providing an experimental treatment outside of a clinical trial... and about a pathway that already exists... www.fda.gov/ForPatients/Other/ExpandedAccess/ucm20041768.htm
What do you know about the subject? Aside from what Donny told you?
Right into the insults and name calling @chance ? Get a fucking clue. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with my feelings about Trump and everything to do with knowledge I’ve gained in my career.
So I’ll ask you the same question... what do you know about the subject? Aside from what Donny has told you?
You’re the one spinning it against Trump, but sure go ahead and pull out all the logical fallacies to justify your rhetoric.
Are you fucking kidding me? If it had been Obama I would’ve said the EXACT same thing. My thoughts on it have literally NOTHING to do with politics and EVERYTHING to do with career experience.
Why don’t you go ahead and answer my question that you totally ignored though... 🤔
I can tell there aren’t enough crayons in the world to explain this to you...
That’s easy for you to say since Obama isn’t in office.
I’m not playing logical fallacy games with you. You’re anecdotal evidence and my experience has no bearing on you’re anti Trump spin. Maybe someone else will come along and play with you.
There you have it, paranoidandroid. Factual information labeled “anti-Trump spin.”
@Zardoz ... it’s sad really.
@js132 ... *your
It wasn’t until that last sentence. If you knew basic reading comprehension you could see that’s the spin. Maybe paranoid can loan you some crayons. It seems she has plenty with all her “years of experience”.
See Hoosierfan below on how to disagree without bias against our president.
Wow @Ebola1 ... that never happens. What’s the world coming too?! 😂👍🏼
I disagree with almost all of what President Trump has done during his time in office, but on this issue, I have to give credit where credit is due. This is a good piece of legislation, and I commend him for signing it into law
Yep, it's a good start.
Jesus....who the fvck said no?
Statists and ‘id be anti-water if trump praised water’ people
I voted no, because ‘it’s too soon to tell’ wasn’t an option. Trump doesn’t factor, the legislature passed the bill and deserve the credit (or blame).
I voted no because I read an in-depth article on the law awhile back. Did you know drug companies could already give patients unapproved experimental drugs before this law? They could, they just had to show the drug wasn’t quack medicine that made most patients who took it sicker. It didn’t have to make them better, and it could make them sicker, it just couldn’t be likely to make patients worse.
So, all the new law really changes is to allow drug companies to sell drugs it knows will make patients sicker. It makes quackery legal.
I don’t like seeing vulnerable people cheated, so I voted no, but if evidence shows it helps some people and doesn’t hurt anyone, I’ll gladly admit I was wrong.
Anyone should be able to..
I’m very happy to hear this pass. Right to try is a good bill name, a move I can agree with republicans on for once.
Excellent judgement by a very stable and intelligent president.
Well half of that comment was true....
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. He made a good decision, but that doesn’t make him stable and intelligent.
I give the kudos.
Yes! More freedom = good
It’s crazy they was a law against this in the first place
You just have to be the first...
I LOVE CHINA (trumps voice)
He inflicts the Chi in a weird and uncomfortable way.
don’t get it
It’s pronounced Jinah! 😂
Yes! I’ve been wracking my brain to try and transcribe what I heard. That’s it!
