If you had lived your life in America's past, would you rather have it be a life in the era of settlement and Old West, or the era I'd call "From Old West into modern times"? I'll give you two hypothetical lifespans to choose from
I'm a woman. At least the US, things have gotten better gradually for us.
My preferred lifetime would have been born in the 1910s and died in the 1990s.
Cause you're a white man
Leave it to the leftie to inject race into a conversation where it doesn’t belong.
Am I wrong though? 1910 wasn't a good time to be black or a woman
I think living between 1885 and 1970 would be fascinating to see the huge growth in so many areas
I have pictures of my relatives from 1885. They looked well dressed and overall, pretty happy.
We all do when posing for a photograph 😊
What didn't fit in, assume:
- you'd know what you know now as you decide
- you'd develop the personality and physical features you have now BUT
- no foreknowledge to exploit, you awaken as an ordinary baby
I’d make a great cowboy robbing trains or whatever, but I’m sure it isn’t as glamorous as I think. I’ll take 85-70 instead.
Gold rush 49!
Well if I’m going that back in time minus well go all the way back so 1800-1870 for me
I'd rather not die of dysentery
That only happens in Oregon Trail
I find the second period more exciting and "dense".
The first option has you live out your life in the Old West, while the second goes from Old West to civil rights movement and manned Moon landing. You see a lot of change.
I'd rather live in the time where it is less likely that I die from pooping to death.
Damn mitchman! I laughed out loud!👍
