My grandmotherly PSA. There is one extremely lucky 16-year-old boy right up. We came across to wreck. This car was totally flipped. The roof is caved in but he is alive. Kids please be careful when you drive!
This is why I’m glad I got experience on my grandfather’s farm. Been driving since I could walk.
Can’t give the keys to a 16 year old and expect them to magically respect the responsibility.
That is for sure. This boy is so lucky!
Do you know why he lost control?
I don’t know I’ll see if it’s in the paper. He just got his license yesterday. The road was dry and fairly flat but kind of curvy. I don’t know if you ever drove the 101 in Oregon or not.
He hit a gravel patch on the side of the road. One very lucky boy. His hands are messed up. But I was told no brain damage.

Lol. No wonder you want driverless cars. You can’t drive. 🙄
Explains a lot.
omg. I hope everyone is safe and help was available.
I have not heard any updates yet. We don’t know the kid he goes to the school my husband teaches it out. But he crawled out of the car.
And wear your seatbelts. Always.
My husband went to assist at the scene. He had crawled out of the car his hands were ruined and he had a big lump on his head. He is not out of the woods because sometimes head trauma does not show up Immediately. The whole top of the car is caved in. There’s probably a mother here in this county who wants to hug him and beat the holy tar out of him
If I was in office, I’d bust my butt to raise driving age to 18. Even thought about raising it to 21 and lower legal the drinking age to 18....that way they can learn to drink safely and not drive too.
