Poll Findings:
- Out of the 193 total poll respondents, 57% would vote for Republican candidates in the midterms while 43% would vote for Democrats.
- Those aged 21 years and younger were the most right-leaning age group in the sample, with 59% supporting GOP candidates and 41% supporting Democrats.
- Those aged between 21 years and 40 years old were the most left-leaning age group, with 52% backing GOP candidates and 48% backing Democrats.
- Among respondents aged 40 years and wiser, 58% would vote for Republicans while 42% would cast their ballots for Democrats.
- Out of the 40 Democrats who answered the poll, 95% would vote along party lines in the midterms while 5% would defect and vote for Republicans.
- Out of the 46 Republicans who answered the poll, 98% would vote along party lines while 2% would defect and vote for Democrats.
- Out of the 67 Independents who answered the poll, 57% would vote for GOP candidates while 43% would vote for Democrats.

Hopefully there will be qualified and capable independents running as well. In any case, I don’t plan on voting for another Republican ever. They will need to purge, disband, rebuild and rename that party first. The taint of claiming association with the "R" has become permanently disqualifying.

I’d probably vote for the Republican candidates if the election were held today.
Side note: when the results are posted tomorrow morning, they will also be broken down by age group, party identification, & other various groups.
