Can you name an article in your field of expertise where a journalist succeeded in calling a spade a spade and did a good job presenting the facts?
Occasionally a huge thing shows up in genetics such as the crispr stuff and a spam of articles leaves someone getting something right.
But in this field it's honestly not the journalists that are problematic... It's the everyday person trying to justify weird social stuff.
Not a specific article. But there have been a lot of good articles on weight loss. I subscribe to and Embroidery magazine so of course they’re experts.
Harvey Weinstein and the whole Hollywood #MeToo exposé. I work in film/tv and Harvey was an open secret.
I did a show where I worked closely with Morgan Freeman and he was a total creep... hit on every woman on set, total sleazebag. When the #MeToo movement hit I said I bet he’s going down too. The only thing I was surprised by was how long it took.
Interesting about Freeman. I never would’ve guesses.
I’d really like to hear from someone in the spade business.
I've read many but couldn't name them right now.
From journalists? Or from educators? The question was about journalists.
Ah, I didn't read your question well. I'm not sure I've seen then from journalists, but I guess it is possible.
Unless it is a major Tax Law change or criminal case, you rarely hear about accounting in the MSM.
However, there are many trade magazines regarding accounting though.
Are the writers journalists? Or tradespeople?
