Do you have any phobias?
Crowds, being penniless, heights (sort of) claustrophobic (sorta)
Sharks and spiders 🏊🏻♀️🕷
I’m terrified of spiders
I used to have a fear of water that was contained and had something going on in it. I never could be comfortable in a pool with a filter running or vents at the bottom of an in ground pool. I was scared of the toilet when I was very young, bathtub full of water, water heater, washer and panicked when I had to clean my fish tank with a filter running. I'm a good swimmer and had no problems with rivers, lakes and oceans. I never understood the fear but I'm glad it's about 99% gone.
That’s really interesting! When I was little I remember those pool vacuum things used to freak me out so much.
Unfortunately yes.. coulrophobia (clowns).
I figured out the origin a few years back (childhood jack-in-the-box) so the fear is less intense, but it’s still there.
& I will still cut and/or kick one if they come within my 3 feet of personal space
Heights a bit and claustrophobia. Oh, and enormous things, like deep water and the sky when I can see all of it at night. Freaks me out, bc it’s so huge and infinite.
No. My worst fears are all completely rational.
Claustrophobia (small spaces)
Glossophobia (public speaking)
Oh my goodness! That’s a lot!
I struggle with anxiety
You have some of the same phobias as I do. I don’t like spiders and snakes, but our current house seems to have a lot of spiders this time of year, so I handle that better now. I also hate large crowds. I used to work in Manhattan and hubby said I had a big city mode that clicked in. I would start zooming around people to get out of really crowded areas.
Phobia of gum
Yes, of thunder.
