Well, yes, the walls on my house do protect me from the elements. That said, I don’t believe we need a wall on our southern border, if that is what you are referring to.

Your walls only protect you from elements? Not drugs, burglars, etc.

I’m not sure how they protect me from drugs, but yes, they do help protect me from criminals.

So a wall around America won't protect it from criminals in the same context?

A wall of that length is easily penetrated. There all already border walls with tunnels.

If you really want less illegal immigration, legalize drugs. Prohibition of drugs leads to organized crime (Mexican drug lords), organize crime has destroyed much of Mexico, many Mexicans have fled to the US to escape said destruction. So the problem is one of our own making, and the solution is freedom (legalization of drugs) and not doubling down on the war on drugs.

I’ve never done drugs. But if you’d like a better explanation, here is a short YouTube video of economist Milton Friedman explaining why prohibition of drugs, just like prohibition of alcohol, was and is a failure:

And regarding terrorists, the worst terrorist attack on the US (9/11) was done by people who legally entered our country, not by people who would have been blocked by a wall.
