We have room in the "Popular users" search result area for a few people that will agree to post one awesome question per day (on average) during April and May. Want in?
I can't even get you all to answer my questions. I need some coaching ;-(.
I said no, but only because I'm not sure I could think of "awesome" questions consistently enough. Plus, the questions I think of are nearly always very obviously colored by my view of the world and day-to-day experiences.
For example, every second of the month I'd probably be asking…
how many people have to fill 5+ prescriptions a month. And every few days I'd be wondering how many people have been responsible for a fire in their kitchens.
Hey, the kitchen one could be fun. Or, alternatively, sad. There might be something to the prescription one too. I can just imagine the alternative health & anti-big-pharma subthreads.
I haven't been responsible for any accidental fires in MY kitchen...
I went ahead and changed my vote. The more I think about it, the more I think I could at least do an *average* of one a day for 2 months.
Most days I end up thinking about something or dealing with something that makes me think of a question I'd like to see asked. Only sometimes do I remember it…
long enough to submit to Tony.
I don't think it would be hard to keep a notebook with/near me (I usually have one anyway) and write down ideas as that come to me.
My biggest concern is that I would end up posting questions that aren't quite appropriate (can't think of a better word) for a large…
audience rather than a niche group. I think I could work on that, though.
Apparently I'm feeling much more confident this morning. ;)
I wish we had a pool group that they could belong to with two or three question posters for that pool.
My questions range from awesome to strange. I can shift the bell curve a little, but I can't promise another "Accordion vs Banjo"-style question won't rear it's inscrutable head at some point...
Those are good ones. The trick is mixing it up. Post question out of left field.
The hard thing is to avoid posting questions where it's transparent that you're just trying to get people to agree with you.
I really need to write a guide...
I could do that.
The well would run dry after about 50 or so.
I'm just being honest.
Oh, it's more fun when everyone disagrees...
I withdraw my candidacy.
I'm in for one semi-awesome question per day, no problem. You want awesome, see MrWolfe or Susan.
TMI. Keep that to yourself, pal!
I don't know about "awesome questions," but I'm sure I would figure something out ????
I'm down. Always got 'em
You certainly do!
Tony, I am thinking about it. If you need more volunteers I could take the second wave.
Or the first if you ask me.
Tony, you have got to fix the iPad so I can get some practice.
Since Ben knew how he broke it, I'm hoping it will be a simple matter to put the fix on the next build.
Susan, he has it. I think he is just making us sweat while he pretests it for a day or so. I think Tony needs to get it nailed down for the final test before apple gets it.
I don't think I have awesome questions but I'm willing to try. I'm guessing you'll get enough awesome volunteers, though.
We all know I have no shortage of questions :p
Amen to that ;-). That is an asset.
Well of course I do, but I'm not as good as some of these other guys at coming up with questions, so they're probably a better bet. ;)
I'd also be happy to try in June/July, when I'm on summer break.
You are awesome.
