I used to say I would never spend that kind of money on clothes but some people have a lifestyle that requires it. Now I have and would have no problem blowing 100 bucks on jeans if they look good enough.

Giving the rich a tax break really does help to create jobs...in another country, duh! Why let the rich get richer? I would just feel horrible knowing the jeans were made in a sweat shop.

Well once there were some at Aeropostale for 85$, and I got those. A week later... 50% off! :P
I mean seriously, overpriced much?

Yeah they get paid. Sometimes. And occasionally it's enough to eat. What a life.

MaleRN, not offended, I figured you were being sarcastic, either that or have sense of irony. Either way I thought it a stellar comment.

If anyone thinks true religion is worth spending anything near what they cost they've got a bad problem and need some deliverance. Here in Australia though it's pretty hard to find a pair for under $130. But at least the fashion isn't shit like it is in the states though, so it's worth it.

$100 for jeans are you kidding me?!? 1st why? 2nd why? 3rd do these $100 jeans you speak of walk for me? If so I may have to look into them!!

@enigma: they're not slaves - they get paid. They're earning a living and being productive.

Well now Vangaurde, what would you use for those 700 lb. Bench Presses, and 7 minute mile run? Or is that why you're so slow? Certainly you'd need to go through lots of those suits if you used them for bench presses (not to mention the looks on everyone else's face).

No, but someday maybe I'll try on some True Religion jeans just to see if they're more comfortable than my Levis. If they are will I buy them? Only if I can get them cheap in a thrift store or a yard sale.

Wow, I'm glad no one asked how much I've paid for shoes/bags. I'm near the "big city" where everyone wears designer jeans and they are usually well over $100. However, ppl should not be criticized for spending their $ on what they like, as long as it's legal ;). It's really no one else's business.

Someone stated $ = quality. I've purchased $50 jeans that fell apart within a year. My maybe $30 one are still almost like new and are 3 yrs old. I'll never pay more than 30 for jeans.

can anyone tell me why the heck they care whether someone else spends the money they earned on expensive jeans? I just find it comical how passionate everyone is about the choices of others.

ORinNY- amazing how many people will sacrifice slave's lives (and pretend it doesn't happen) because they want their stuff cheap.

However I found a pair of jeans at Harley marked down to $69 from over $100 that I bought because they were enforced on knees and butt and cuffs and had zipper pockets and went with a riding jacket so it was worth it I have never seen it again and I am only one at bike night wearing it I get lots of

Also, remember what you are paying for when you buy cheap. $10 jeans weren't made in the US, the workers had poor conditions and weren't compensated properly. Someone is paying for those discounted prices and its not the business owners. Around $100 is probably a much fairer price for jeans.

Quality over quantity I say, though I've never spent that much personally I own a number of expensive clothing items that were gifted to me, the difference in how they fit and feel is dramatic. For thrifty types, I recommend buying a designer pair at a consignment shop, it's a big difference.

Don't judge if you've never owned a pair. Not always the case, but I believe in clothing $=quality

I switched to lucky brand which go for about 100 bucks and will never go back. I dont see what the big deal is. I have friends who blow their money on expensive cars or football season tickets. I choose to spend my money to look decent. It's all about priorities.
