As a white person, I am sick and tired of being judged by the color of my skin by people who have complained for decades about being judged by the color of theirs.
I was helping a lost black man the other day, ( in town) who-stopped me for directions. He was a foreigner.
I told him, but l want to confirm, I asked another black guy, he looked and me and kept walking away, I told him this fella is lost.
He saw the other black guy and then he stopped to help. Hum!
True. I have gotten hostile looks for being white and in the wrong place, but it was far from the norm. Respect is a mutual thing!
I've never felt judged by the color of my skin.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." - The great Martin Luther king Jr
Should go all ways. Instead we're judged by the color of our skin and the standards of our ancestors.
