I work in the Hair care industry and think everything that can be done to hair has already been done and rehashed at least twice. Aside from Keratin treatments (I think a sham) there's been nothing new in ten years. Is your industry without new ideas

Internet, cloud, social media.... ho hum.
Cloud is just 1960s mainframes redone.
Internet and social is just a series of incremental improvements like a 16, 17, 18, 19... in TV set.

I teach special ed. As long as new research about the brain keeps happening, my profession will keep adapting to help the kiddos affected.

Always something new in medicine. Unfortunately, new ideas 💡 don’t always pan out.

Sadly no, there's all kinds of new ideas surrounding automated trucks :D.

The industry I most concern my myself with (the videogame industry) is never out of ideas either.

No one really knows how it'll all shake out yet. They may get to full automation within 5 years, or 20, or never. I'm hoping it's at least 20, or I might have to bust my wrinkly old ass for the last few years of my career.

I’m sure once the first automated truck crashes and kills people the whole thing will be delayed. Just look at Tesla, the cars have crashed.

I have seen people come up with very… interesting hair styles, but I am no where’s near an expert on it.

Maybe you should bring something back and put a twist on it.

My thoughts on this would be: Are you going to rise to the challenge?
It is almost a rhetorical question, but it is a valid one.

Nope, neither is black privilege.

You mentioned affirmative-action. Affirmative action is government imposed black privilege. Legitimate black privilege is you becoming successful on your own. Affirmative action had its place back when segregation was abolished. It is now obsolete and racist.
These days, what holds black people back predominately, is their own mentality.
