Former President Clinton call Jerusalem the capital of Israel and in the 1995 signed legislation to ensure it’s recognition.
Former President Bush ran on the policies of ensuring Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel.
Former President Obama call Jerusalem the capital of Israel and ensured the Israeli people Jerusalem would alway be Israel’s capital.
The last three statements are true so what’s the beef with Democrats? 😳 Could be democrats just don’t like Israel nor President Trump. 🤨

If it drew praise from his critics, why have I been reading about how bad the Jerusalem thing is? Was that from his supporters? Sorry. That one struck me as a little off.

No, you can see the link to the article below.

Maybe you’re only reading MSM that thinks that EVERYTHING that DJT does is the most horrible thing a President has ever done?

I guess I wouldn’t consider an extremely right leaning rag to be a frequent critic. Now it would be something if cnn praised it. That would be something to write about. But an extremely conservative news outlet praising this, no.

That’s like saying “Obamacare drew praise from even frequent critics of the obama administration. CNN’s Anderson Cooper called it brilliant.”

Voc, the article said that David French, who writes for National Review is an outspoken critic of DJT. I would assume this to be the case, considering that Wiki says this about him:

In January 2016, French said that he would vote for Donald Trump if he became the Republican nominee; he later changed his mind and said he would not vote for Trump.[12][13] Political commentator Bill Kristol, a supporter of the Stop Trump movement, named French as his choice to run for U.S. President as an independent conservative candidate to defeat presumptive Republican nominee Trump on May 31.[14] On June 5, French announced that he had considered running, but ultimately decided not to.[15][16] In a June 18, 2016, interview with The Daily Herald, French revealed that he had strongly considered entering the presidential race, but ultimately decided that he did not have the name recognition nor the financial support to mount a viable campaign.

What I’m saying is that is propaganda. Fake news if you like that better. That would be like if the White House reported during the obama years that “cnn’s Jake tapper, a frequent critic of obama, said Obamacare was awesome”. He probably did say it, he probably does criticize trump, but it’s a way right leaning publication. The only thing conservatives like more than Bebe netanyahu is trump. I use to like these wh updates, but the more I read, the more I see they aren’t just reporting what’s happening, they too are putting their little spin on it. Nothing bad ever happens, just like on the other side nothing good ever happens. It’s interesting to say the least.

Voc, just because a publication leans one way or another doesn’t mean that EVERY article and every journalist is required to lean that way. I see this in Shephard Smith, Juan Wallace and Geraldo Rivera on Fox News. They all lean liberal and are NOT DJT fans and often speak against him.

I mean, I thought you wanted more middle of the road reporting—with journalists from both sides at the same publishing house or news desk.

Here are some David French quotes I found with a quick Google search. I doubt very seriously that Jake Tapper said any of THIS about Obama, as the attacks against Trump aren’t just criticisms, but attacks on his character:

2) "Good news, disgruntled Americans: As you ponder whether to vote for one of the two most-disliked, dishonest, and morally corrupt politicians ever to run for president — Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton — you just might have a third option. His name is Gary Johnson." — May 5

"Reince, you should resign rather than spending one more ounce of personal energy supporting a reprehensible man." — May 4

As to the 1600 polls, I never claimed that these would tell ALL the news, or even the bad news that is going on. You get PLENTY of that from the MSM.

3) These polls are meant to be only the news that the MSM REFUSES to tell you—-and what I think we ALL need to hear more of—-the GOOD things that are going on. It gets depressing to be constantly bombarded by a one sided BAD outlook on the world—-the hysteria that the whole world is going to hell in a hand-basket that we get now from MSM.

Maybe that will help you see what these polls are about, and that I’m trying to uplift people and give them good news. If you’re not up for good news, though....🤣😂🤣

One way of looking at it is that if you watch MSM and read my polls, at least you’re getting a more BALANCED look at what is going on in the WH.

Many leaders around the region and world condemned it. And Palestinian officials just issued a statement today saying pence is no longer welcome for his planned visit later this month.

You’re welcome. Thanks for letting me know, Jazzy! Sometimes I wonder if anyone is still reading/watching them, so everyone that validates me keeps me going on them!

They’re about the only polls I’m doing right now because I’m furiously cross stitching 2 Christmas gifts that have over 100 hours of work in them, trying to get through before the 20th, when we have our Christmas family gathering, PLUS watching our 2 year old granddaughter 40 hours a week for our daughter who is working. Having a blast over here, but had to cut way back on SOH! Thanks for asking!

You’re welcome! I started doing counted cross stitch when I was in my early 20’s (3 decades ago!) and it’s my fave of all the needle arts, including sewing. I used to be able to do it from the passenger seat while hubby drove, but now I need a magnifying light, so I can’t do that any more. But I do it while I’m watching tv.

I used to make at least counted cross stitched gifts a year for all the names my family drew at hubby’s family’s Christmas gathering. Everyone always hoped I’d get their name! Lol

Thanks for noticing I wasn’t as active! I do these because they give us all the news that the media is NOT reporting! Lol

4J, please share photos of your cross stitch. I did that years ago when my kid was little, so cathartic.
I appreciate the efforts you’re putting into your work🖐🏼
My mother is a quilter and I have all my beloved quilts since I was a little girl.

Thanks so much for your interest in them, Louder. I’ll post some pics when I get through. I’ve posted some other pics of some of my sewing before—pillows, etc.

Those quilts are sure to be heirloom keepsakes, to hand down through the generations!

I’m going to be working on putting together a gorgeous beach themed quilt that my other mother left behind when she passed away. Her hubby gave it to me, and I’ve always wanted to do my entire house in beach theme.

I constructed three quilts from the quilt tops that she had started for each of her three grown sons before she passed away. Her hubby gave them to the boys as their last Christmas presents from their mom after her passing. I was so honored to finish them for her. She did beautiful work! I’ve never done a quilt top myself—just stretched & layered the quilt tops, batting & backings & finished 4 of them.

I also repaired several of her quilts that had been much loved on! I’ve repaired bedskirts for a local hotel several times.

Nothing more or less than a recognition of reality’

President Donald J. Trump made headlines around the world yesterday by announcing the United States will officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The President also directed the State Department to begin preparations to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“When I came into office, I promised to look at the world’s challenges with open eyes and very fresh thinking,” the President said. “Old challenges demand new approaches.”

The decision drew praise even from frequent critics of the Administration. National Review’s David French called it one of President Trump’s “best, most moral, and important decisions” that “strikes a blow against international anti-Semitism.” Read his comments here:

3) Remembering the second worst attack on American soil

Today marks the 76th anniversary of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor that claimed 2,403 American lives on a single day in 1941. The President’s latest video tells the story of that fateful event that plunged America into World War II.

“We remember the lives that were lost, the families torn from loved ones, and the heroes who rose to America’s defense,” the President said. “As the smoke billowed that day from our sinking ships, our entire nation rose up to show our enemies America’s unbending strength, might, and resolve.”

4) ‘What it means to have hope’

Continuing to celebrate December’s spirit of giving, First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Karen Pence visited hurricane-damaged areas of Texas yesterday to meet first responders, visit families in the process of rebuilding, and assist volunteers with their ongoing efforts to help victims.

One family in particular, the Zamoranos, offers all of us a stirring example of courage this holiday season.

“I am so impressed by your positive attitudes and resilient spirit,” the First Lady said. “Your family is an example of what it means to have hope.”
