There are non-XX/XY chromosome combinations, intersex people are a thing, genitals can be surgically changed or removed, & hormone levels & secondary sex characteristics can be changed & vary widely. Clearly, "biological sex" is a social construct.

Gender is a social construct.

Biological sex is a product of science, not a social construction. By asserting that biological sex is a social construct, you undermine the scientific method.

Yes, but no. There are a finite amount of biological sex’s in the sense of XX/XY/XXX/XXY chromosomal set ups. The “there are only 2 genders” crowd are buying into a social construct however.

Some people are born with weird hair conditions and I can dye my hair a different color in addition to cutting it. Clearly, hair is a social construct.

It's just that you can't change said chromosomes. I'm totally fine with people actually going about and getting "sex changes", it's just that they have to realize, in this current state you can't completely change your sex.

I'd like some data on the percentage of the population that is XXY, YY etc. vs. the number of self-identified "nonbinary" individuals. We'll see then if gender is a social construct.

Almost agree. I agree that there are intersex people that actually exist. Biologically and unnaturally. Although I will say disagree to the whole biological gender/sex being a social construct.

They are an exception to the rule. The small number of cases you're describing doesn't warrant redefining the 99% that easily fits into the classic definition.

Not too mention those people have health and mental problems throughout their life. And have to be heavily medicated to have normal bodily functions. Not exactly what we should be normalizing
