Fantastic for you! I'd love to do that. But alas... We use it as a computer screen most. Don't have cable, and only one, in the living room. TV is bad for you.

No. The only time I have in my life was when my bedroom was also my living room. That was a crappy apartment too. Couldn't adjust heater, smelled, afraid to walk barefoot (never did)... But hey it was a roof. And we only used it to play our 90's PS FF12. No cable.
But TV is not conducive to sleep...

I find tvs in bedrooms to be extremely strange. Sitting in bed and watching tv just isn't something that I desire. Even more disturbing are tvs in kids rooms.

Usually there is a period before the emphasizing word "period." I love correcting other people's grammatical mistakes!! :)

People obviously forgot that a bedroom has 2 uses and watching TV is not one of them! I'll let you guess what the 2 uses are" ; )

We have a tv in all the rooms but the bathrooms, but ever since getting an iPhone I no longer watch half as much TV; my smartphone has become my mobile entertainment center, library, game room, weather forecaster (ever since Dark Sky), you name it.

Yes, but its basically my husband's. I wait until he starts snoring, then turn it off so I can sleep. Oh, headphones are a must, too.

Don't have a TV anywhere. I download the few shows I like to watch, and buy sports packages online to watch college basketball (go Heels!!). My girlfriend has one at her house, but not in the bedroom.

I moved in with my girlfriend who has a TV in the room. By default, I now have a TV in my room... I hate it. If it were up to me, no way would there be one in the bedroom... Alas, compromise is a good thing

Of course. And in every other room except the bathrooms - when I go in one of the bathrooms I have stuff to do and don't need the distraction slowing me down.

No, I used to, but to big of a distraction. I'd be up all night. Every now and then I think about it but problem won't

No. I used to have a computer and a TV in my room, but I'd fall asleep in my computer chair instead of bed. Now, no TV, no PC, just my iPad, which either streams a music mix from my PC or the Thelonious Monk station on Pandora. I need the music because of tinnitus. (Wear earplugs, musicians!)
