Two Chinese Vacationers were arrested in Germany after posing for Selfies & giving the Nazi Salute for Pictures in front of the Reichstag. Do you think that the German authorities were overreacting?

It is against the law in Germany. They have zero tolerance- which I applaud. Bet the Chinese would be just as quick to arrest a tourist who violated one of their laws.

Yeah. It's kinda funny how paranoid they are over their own history...as if disavowing and suppressing it will make it go away.

Was the Nazi Party on trial at Nuremburg, or was it Goering et.al?

Party was crushed by that point, and its leaders held responsible.
I️ get what your saying, and the same applies to ‘guns don’t kill people, people kill people’.
I️ was simply drawing a comparison regarding your comment about the shame of the Germans today.

The Nazi salute is prohibited, isnt it? Along with much other Nazi-related talk and possessing relics.

So, taking selfies is illegal? Or were they doing the Nazi salute in the selfie? Either way, it seems over reacted.

I thought they had to have their fingers under noses to represent mustaches whilst also saluting. 🤣

There is no German word for ‘moderation’. They only operate on each end of the spectrum

It's the law in Germany but it's a ridiculous law.

Not at all when one considers how the world has demanded Germany act since WW I & II. That demand has also caused Merkel and the EU to react stupidly when it came to the Syrian “refugee” occupation.

Neo-nazism is something of a fashion in Asia...It's really weird.

I get it though. It's a government building
