Do you have any unusual Thanksgiving traditions?
We have taken the Kids, G-kids spouses and friends bowling the day after our Thanksgiving dinner together for the past 10 years.
Our local alley has a 2 hr bowling ticket with a hamburger & fries. It is great fun and fellowship.
This year we had 14 of our 23 Kids, G-kids, spouses and girl friend.
Family golf outing every year. Not sure how it became a tradition but it’s 9 years running.
We have pie for breakfast.
Watching dances with wolves thanksgiving night
I've gotten into the habit of working 16 hours shifts, I suppose that's an unusual tradition lol
We eat the turkey raw. Man, you should see those feathers fly. 🦃
Deer hunt the morning of thanksgiving
We have a family race before the dinner. Our in laws live in the country and their driveway is about 200 m so we sprint. It’s a nice pre meal warm up.
Tamales!!! We’re not big ham & turkey fans.
Not to my knowledge
Somebody has a health crisis. No lie. One year my dad had to be taken to the hospital for a bleeding ulcer, another one I had a seizure and fell down the stairs and hit my head, yesterday my dad must of stood up and fell. My sister and I had a he'll of A time getting him up
Hope all’s well now!
Maybe not a tradition but my dad has brought over a couple of his Indian coworkers for Thanksgiving for the past two years and we've had Indian food with Thanksgiving dinner.
No but I am looking for one or two. =D
My son participates at a weeklong sports tournament at our JCC. So we spend all day there
why would they hold it the week of thanksgiving??
Because it's all day Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. As well as Wednesday evening. When else can you find so many free days in a week?
Squirt whipped cream into everyone mouth. Including the dogs!
We always play Left-Right-Center. What’s a family holiday without gambling?
Fun game, we do that at Christmas
The annual phone call from my sister because she needs me to go to the store to get that one thing she forgot to buy for Thanksgiving dinner.

That's great! Can I have your recipe? I can't find a good one!
Just quarter the squirrel and fry it like you would chicken. That's all we do.
Yeah, getting wasted off my fucking ass.
Nah, we're creatures of habit.
We started a new tradition this year. We shaved my mom's head.

For the last couple of years its been kinky group sex...so yes?

we have a ‘progressive’ meal - we serve a course every 2-3 hours through the day. 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm targets.
We put up our Christmas tree at the end of Thanksgiving dinner, I’ve been told that is unusual.
I’ve been doing that since I was a kid and now I do it with my kids.
Me too 🤗
No, we’re very ‘basic bitch’ for Thanksgiving
Cook, eat, watch TV, eat some more, sleep. It all seems pretty normal to me.
