As you sit down for dinner and give thanks..remember our first responders and military service members..as they are are not home with their families..but protecting us..my son is doing a 12 hour shift at our local rescue squad..
Bless the troops!❤️
And our retail workers prepping and preparing for the ghettoness and madness of tomorrow...
Doctors as well. My wife is in a 36 hour shift. She had to watch a baby die today.
I’m terribly sorry to hear that.
I️ have an aunt in NC that endures the same.
Wow 😮 that’s just so sad..
She is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Sad to say, some babies face issues that don't allow life. In some cases, it's for them to go ahead and die. That doesn't make it easier for the parents (or doctors though).
Agreed. My relative lives/works in Wake County, and has worked in that department for decades. It takes a strong person to be dedicated to that profession.
It’s just so sad..it must be very hard for your wife..I would be a mess..I worked as a vet tech for about a month..a puppy came in that ate something..it got lodged in the intestines..I stood in surgery for 3 hrs..in the end the dog had to be put to sleep..that was it for me..I quit..I couldn’t take it..it was to depressing..I can’t imagine how your wife must feel after days like what you described..especially with innocent babies..
Happy Thanksgiving, ProudAmerican!
Thank you Gluxford! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving my friend..
