Do you think there should be an age where someone is too old to be president? If yes, what age?
Should be able to pass a non-partisan mental and physical exam designed by health care professionals that indicates they are fit to run the country competently.
No limit. As long as he has the brains and the energy, I don't care if he is 100
I think 80 is too old to be president. If you are 78, you are too old to run for President.
It's mental capacity, not age.
There’s 80 year olds in better shape than. 45’s. Depends on your individual exam.
Honestly I don't like restricting who can or can't run for office, but in this case I feel strongly that no one over the age of 300 needs to be running for president.
Age? Not really.
Health wise? Definitely. For the President and Congress.
For example John McCain should not be in congress because he isn’t healthy enough. Maxine Waters should not be in Congress because she is obviously mentally unfit to be voting on things that affect our country.
Are we talking physical age or mental clarity age?
Then I’d have to concur with @Squidboy comment below - it makes the most sense to me.
No age limit. I have known people in their 80's and 90's who are sharper than most in their 20's.
I would support a law saying that they had to win election before their 70th birthday. Reagan was too old at the end of his second term. It remains to be seen how well Trump holds up under the stress.
Anything over 80
There should be no regulation on who should hold a public office, that power could be easily abused.
How could an age cutoff be abused? There's already an age requirement of 35 for the president and that's not abused.
Because it hasn't been changed since it was written
The age of retirement
I think 80 should be the cutoff
No, if their mind is working more power to them.
