If you didn’t receive a single gift at Christmas you would be?
I don't get any gifts, and that's absolutely fine. My family decided some years ago to forego gift-giving and we're all happier for it - it takes a good deal of stress out of the holiday season. There are no children involved, or anyone under 49 for that matter. We wouldn't subject children or adolescents to our curmudgeonly ways.
Yes, I’d be sad because it’s the thought that counts. It would mean no one thought of me.
I would be incredible depressed because that means my wife, parents, sister, and best friend were all dead.
Not only that, but none of my extended family or friends cared enough to pick up the slack.
I'm depressed thinking about it.
Not necessarily. It could be agreed upon that presents weren’t to be exchanged.
Not in my family. We could make that verbal agreement and it'd be a trap. You'd still get presents.
I see your point though. I would be ok with it. I'd still give presents though.
Well, I’m Jewish so I don’t get Xmas presents.
So if your received no Gelt?
We get 7 days of it. I would be sad I guess but I’m a very fortunate person, so it would be hard for me to be too sad.
I much prefer giving to receiving.
I would almost be relieved. I don't love commercial Christmas stuff.
Gifts are overrated, I’d rather you take the money and donate it to a worthwhile charity.
I'd be just fine. But, I'd be a little sad if I couldn't give some gifts.
