Is it sincere for men, who are accused of sexually assault, to say they’re sorry only after they get caught?

Often, I think, when the offense occurred long ago and is something the better person they have become will forever be ashamed of.

It's very possible they have been sorry evee since it happened. But that's very difficult to know for sure.

It could be. Getting caught could be the catalyst for repentance. We have no way of knowing that.

Tom ... it’s far easier to believe in an unforced repentance than a death bed repentance. However, I get that for us it is to believe the repentant one.
