Yes. It’s not a deterrent and the justice system is completely biased in favor of numbers over fairness.

Yes, not because I disagree with it, but because the death penalty can cost millions for each execution. Let them rot in a cell and lets keep our tax money.

It's significantly cheaper for someone to spend life in prison then to receive the death penalty.

That's untrue. Take the annual cost of life in prison, and the annual cost of a death row inmate, and the cost of the death row inmate WILL be higher. However, you must consider that the average wait time for a death row inmate is 15 years, while a life inmate must spend 25 to 50ish years in prison. The cost weighs out to be way more for a life inmate over the course of their service time
