If there was a professional athlete with the same first and last name as you, would you root for them even if you hated their team?

Not sure, really. I have a very unique name, and have not met a single person ever to share it as a legal name. That, and if I'm not a fan of the sport, I'm highly unlikely to cheer anyhow...

I’d probably root for them. Just because with how uncommon my surname is (<100 people worldwide), I’m probably related to them. I’d have to chirp at their parents who gave them the same first name as me, though.

That’s weird! There was also 2 gents drafted around the same with a subtle difference in pronunciation, Tyson Barrie and Tyson Baille. Hockey people know who the former is, but the latter must’ve fallen off somewhere in his development.
