House Dems have brought vague articles of impeachment and liberal billionaire Tom Steyer is running 10 million worth of ads for impeaching Trump (reasons unclear). Will the average voter think this new push to impeach is legitimate or is it unhinged?

He may be going to jail soon. He’s attempting a coup by distraction

They'll see it for what it is: The Democrats shooting themselves in the foot by throwing an endless temper tantrum over the 2016 election instead of focusing on legislation that would help Americans.

Yeah, that's what I don't get. They have a guy who really has no ideology and they could possibly work with if they'd put aside their hatred. Pence is a true conservative, that they would truly hate.

I've seen the ad...extremely unhinged.

Yes, I saw it once. It was completely baseless.

Is it really surprising that billionaires like Tom Steyer and George Soros control Democrats?

Democrats are political whores. You give them some money and they will do or say anything you want.

Hey, conservatives are controlled by the Koch brothers, pharmaceuticals, and Wall Street. The issue is two-sided.

Corey Booker [D] is the most Wall Street funded politician in the country. Schumer, McCain are top 5, and the guy making these ads is a wall st hedge fund guy.

11/16/17 10:18 pm

😂 That’s funny considering how much of Wall Street votes for Dems.
But nice try.

Unhinged, like Maxine Waters.

So preposterous that it doesn’t stand a chance of succeeding.

It’s weird timing. If you didn’t do it earlier, it makes sense to wait for Mueller to do his thing.

The average voter wants impeachment. But... gerrymandering and the electoral college. It's a bad move for the dems anyway. As Napoleon said, never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

You really think the average voter wants to impeach a president just because they disapprove of the job they are doing?

Not everyone is a partisan hack, let's see if these people even make it to the polls when the time comes.

"partisan hack"? Hardly. More like "not being conned".

11/16/17 4:25 pm

A partisan hack wants to remove a president for the reasons outlined in the ad, which is because 'republicans have done it in the past, and we don't agree with his policies'. Most people don't even care about politics or follow it closely

Opinion piece, which BTW Bernstein who was largely responsible for watergate is another sellout who doubled down on he credibility of the fake dossier. Look at Comey's approval, he'll probably be charged before you can find obstruction of justice. Firing someone incompetent who illegally leaked classified information months before isn't the same as watergate, almost definitely one of those 27 open investigations is James Comey.

Bernstein was the guy who broke watergate dude. And that "fake dossier" correctly identified several Russian spies in government positions and has been validated by nearly every major intelligence organization on the planet.

In not gonna waste my time refuting the quotes from old fucks trying to relive their glory days, I don't care what Bernstein did, he's a hack now. Notice that your sources from liberal news say 'yes obstruction' while the regular ones are unclear, most likely not. It Comey gets charged that will be totally thrown out of window, it's already 3/4 of the way out considering his actions. As far as your dossier claims, sure I'd like to look into whether the FBI used unverified opposition research paid for by a candidate to get a FISA warrant to wiretap a opposing candidates manager, that will blow watergate right out of the water. Careful what you wish for.

I'm late to the party here, but yes I think the majority of voters - left and right - don't understand impeachment even a little, and it is synonymous with "disapprove" to them.

It will backfire on them. Shows how out of touch they are with reality. Wait until they start investigating Uranium One and Fusion GPS.

Uranium one isn't a thing. Sessions even admitted it wasn't worth investigating
